I finished te game and i'm already attached to Pierrot. Another thing is i made it to the part where someone mentioned not having a choice. I like that because it shows the mc likes it there and that we really don't have one. It's a yandere game so i'm not at all surprised. It was a fantastic read! I can't wait for the next update! Truly one of the best i've ever read! My only issue is i went through it in one sitting, it was that good.

However, I don't trust the girl... if you went for Pierrot you'll know who i'm talking about. she gave me bad vibes. I could sense the jealousy from her right away. I also noticed at the beginning Pierrot was acting strange to me. He was always smiling, it confused me because we just met him and we were injured. His care didn't seem as genuine as he played it off to be. I will admit i love his character regardless. One of the best written yanderes i have ever come across. His character had me hooked from the start even with his off put sympathy and smile. I got two bad ends, but one automatically proved i was right about Pierrot. It's clear he does care, but it's like he's putting on an act to downplay the extent. Maybe i'm wrong, but i truly love how you wrote him. I especially love the others too, though i will admit i don't like the guy who adopted him... I don't like how he treated Pierrot, petition to protect Pierrot anyone?
The others were just as lovable as him making me get attached fast. I loved how caring they became especially with that fight and how mc cried. I like all the moments between each character. The writing had me hooked from the start. I haven't chosen every single choice there is, but from one i did choose lead me to finding more lore. I love how it's all set up though there is one thing i want to figure out... The unstable guy who screamed, i'm guessing by the title of the game he has Predators syndrome. Why do you not ask to be taken to the hospital immediately, and ask why he didn't do that? (I'm sure he'd have a good excuse, but it's really weird and unnatural for the mc to not even question it. Anyone can buy a lab coat and pretend to be a doctor, and no town is without a clinic at the bare minimum.)

Fyi: When you DO manage to hit ANYTHING but Enter, then your game crashes. Might wanna fix that. (It was a pain in the ass too. I'm a -BIT- pissed off at that so-called 'choice' atm. >_> ) I also broke the game and had to shut it down the hard way.

i don't know if you're just young (and if so, remember these games are usually 18+) or if you're just not used to engaging with artists and game developers, but people simply do not have to take your input on their art and projects. lots of indie devs love feedback and criticism, but only if it's actually coming from someone who actually cares about the project. if your replies are all just "i don't like X, why didn't we do Y, please change Z" then maybe these games just aren't for you.
This may be a culture difference... lol I have NEVER seen a town small enough to not have at the bare minimum a medical center.

Depends on the game tho. In Pact With a Witch there's the exact same type choice where they try and force your hand, but if you outmaneuver it, you get a whole different ending. (I think they had some plans to write a separate path there, but haven't gotten around to it, so they made it a summary end of the path instead.)
I can't know if the mouse forcing, when there is -clearly- a choice, means some force is trying to control your mind and you need to break out of it or not. It's very confusing, and I'm very stubborn --especially about avoiding churches.
It IS a pretty cool game mechanism, but certain overly stubborn readers will try to get out of it anyway I fear. lol

I absolutely love the characters, especially Pierrot, and how they're different from each other. I love seeing how they interact with each other, learning about them and their histories.

I think I must have spent 2 hours straight just trying out all the routes and Easter eggs in this game. And when I was done I felt compelled to immediately scroll through the entire tumblr looking for more Pierrot content. This game quickly established itself as one of my favorite yandere vns! The length, unique cast of characters, variety of choices, interesting setting and nice visuals make this a very satisfying demo to play and gives a lot to enjoy and chew on! Just from the demo, I'm already invested. I'd highly recommend playing this game if you enjoy yanderes and shady, mysterious circumstances! I hope you enjoy it, and Pierrot (best boy), as much as I do! :)

The first thing I need to talk about is the characters. It was extremely unfair how quickly Pierrot endeared himself to me. His cute hairstyle, reassuring smile and trustworthy "I'm on your side" personality (carefully maintained to hide the full extent of his attachment) are all big hits with me. I had already lost the battle from the first moment I saw him, he can do whatever he wants with my car. Another thing I like from him is what I'd describe as subtle clinginess- or a pushiness that doesn't seem pushy. He is always in your space but it seems like he's good-naturedly doing you a favor and hanging out with you because you need him. There's some subtleties to his behavior that I didn't notice the first time I played. I didn't notice how lukewarm his reactions were when I chose to bring up or hang out with other characters, and how he'd smile when I refused others' company. I really like small details like that which I could easily miss if I didn't play a second time!
Before this just becomes a Pierrot review I must mention the other main characters. They all have distinct and unique personalities, which I think is great, and all of them are likeable! I like Columbina second best and Arlecchino is also cool, but I would be down to hang out with everyone. It's also cool how they all have established relationships with one another, which is very realistic. Since I am a drama enjoyer, I can't wait to see them all wrassle later on in the name of love and jealousy.
I really enjoy the setting! The fact that we're in an enclosed facility and have had our regular life upended introduces a forced reliance on other characters who may or may not be well-meaning, which causes a lot of interesting dynamics and tension. I like that the setting is different from your average town or city. Those are nice too! But places that are different with a different set of rules are extra exciting! I like the set up of the disease as well. I feel like it nicely explains why these yanderes are all grouped up together and why they will behave the way they do.
When it comes to choices, I felt like there were an appropriate amount of them! There were enough choices to make me feel involved and immersed in the story, and I liked replaying and choosing all the different ones to see what I could learn (I don't do that for every game). The fact that there are unlockable different routes even in the demo is pretty impressive!
I always like to mention length. Including all the routes and easter eggs, that's quite a lot of content! I did say I took a couple of hours to play through it all. I feel like this demo gave me a really good bite of the world and characters, and made me feel full and satisfied with the experience. Of course, I'm always eager to learn more, though.
There's a lot of CGs in this demo. A lot! I really wasn't expecting so many. If I'm not mistaken, every character has at least one CG, and I believe most of them have more than one. This game is chock full of art, and I know that must have taken a lot of work, not to mention all the story writing and programming on the side. Even the side characters have sprites and interactions, that just screams high-effort to me.
The last thing I have to say is that the creator deserves a lot of appreciation for their time and hard work on this game! Thank you for the experience! I'm desperately looking forward to more and I really want to see more Pierrot but I will be super patient and wait as long as it takes. Take care of yourself first!

Well, to be fair, there are two categories for future games related to PS
Spin offs and Extra Content.
The spin offs will be free and will not be as complex as Predator's Syndrome and the Extra content, and will have stories about characters that don't appear or aren't a main focus in the game.
The Extra content, it's going to have stories related to the Love Interests. Such as how their lives are with the MC after the Good Ending and (Currently being developed) an NSFW Expansion that, like the name suggests, will have adult content of the main 5
Only the Extra Content won't be free. I don't know how much they will be, but, at least the NSFW Expansion will be above 10 USD because of how complex it is.
great game!! i love the name easter eggs where you can learn a bit about their past.. kinda funny(creepy) when the game kicked me out when i tipped "Scaramouche" or the smile from Dottore idk maybe it way a bit creepy because i play it at night :,)and i also love the story it's interesting,i actually like everyone so far but my favs. are Pierrot and Tartaglia (even when he betrayed me and left me in that one route that brat:c)

Through I can’t help but wonder, when Pierrot ask my name, I got the response as saying my name means the noble one, I also tried out several other names, but none of them get the special response, so I am really curious why?
This was an amazing adventure!!! Although I had an idea what would happen, I was not prepared at all! I love all the easter eggs to the Italian play that I know very little about, it makes me want to learn more about it. This story is very interesting and I can see a lot of love and thought was put into it, I love Pierrot and am excited to learn about the other characters!!
Yeah, I totally encourage you to do research about it, it's amazing how many things you can learn and how the modern times still use it as a reference!
jst a quick question anyone know how 2 get Rosaura's 2nd CG?? I like collecting images of my favorite silly girl ^_^ (totally wasnt struggling for hours on it or something..)
To get her second cg, after you have Sandrone's first event and after Pierrot says "I hope your day was enjoyable" You have to pick the option that talks about Rosaura.
Continue the game as normal until Pierrot asks you if you want to go back to the apartment with him, you have to say no and take a walk on your own.
There game should remember your answer and start a special event with Rosaura.
Well...it's more of a reference to la Commedia Dell'arte if you're talking about the names haha, since the fatui and these characters both share the same name as characters from that Italian Commedy!
But PS doesn't have such a complex and worked lore as Genshin has LOL.
Maybe I will make references to Genshin, maybe! We'll see~!
This was so much fun!! i love all the characters (especially arlecchino and pierrot) so much! i've found a couple of the easter eggs and i'm having a lot of fun trying to find more. can't wait to see what more comes of this game. good luck with future updates!!! <3

Really liked the art and the characters, but I loved the take on what means to be a "yandere" here, I admit I played a lot of games with that kind of characters but you surprised me with the story and the documents that we can read to know more and all.
And yes, after playing the Alternate Routes 1 & 2 I still love him (honestly, he got me at breakfast, i'm pretty easy to please haha)

I binned the old game, all of it, and re-downloaded the game...and it's STILL broken. >_>

That is a BIG crash for refusing to enter a church. *sigh*
if you're on windows you can use win+r, type in: %appdata%/renpy
and then delete the predator's syndrome folder to erase all the data

The game is a demo, it does not have any good endings because it isn't finished. When it's done it'll have more endings
It's in total. The only endings you can get in the current stage of development are on the choices and items you can find while exploring.

For the Alt Route 3 you have to first finish the "Scaramouche" Route (Where you look into the trashcan) and also continue the game normally.
When you get the chance to explore after Tartaglia runs away, keep an eye open for a special hidden item!

Another thing I like from him is what I'd describe as subtle clinginess- or a pushiness that doesn't seem pushy. He is always in your space but it seems like he's good-naturedly doing you a favor and hanging out with you because you need him. There's some subtleties to his behavior that I didn't notice the first time I played. I didn't notice how lukewarm his reactions were when I chose to bring up or hang out with other characters, and how he'd smile when I refused others' company. I really like small details like that which I could easily miss if I didn't play a second time!
Before this just becomes a Pierrot review I must mention the other main characters. They all have distinct and unique personalities, which I think is great, and all of them are likeable! I like Columbina second best and Arlecchino is also cool, but I would be down to hang out with everyone. It's also cool how they all have established relationships with one another, which is very realistic. Since I am a drama enjoyer, I can't wait to see them all wrassle later on in the name of love and jealousy.
I really enjoy the setting! The fact that we're in an enclosed facility and have had our regular life upended introduces a forced reliance on other characters who may or may not be well-meaning, which causes a lot of interesting dynamics and tension. I like that the setting is different from your average town or city. Those are nice too! But places that are different with a different set of rules are extra exciting! I like the set up of the disease as well. I feel like it nicely explains why these yanderes are all grouped up together and why they will behave the way they do.
When it comes to choices, I felt like there were an appropriate amount of them! There were enough choices to make me feel involved and immersed in the story, and I liked replaying and choosing all the different ones to see what I could learn (I don't do that for every game). The fact that there are unlockable different routes even in the demo is pretty impressive!
I always like to mention length. Including all the routes and easter eggs, that's quite a lot of content! I did say I took a couple of hours to play through it all. I feel like this demo gave me a really good bite of the world and characters, and made me feel full and satisfied with the experience. Of course, I'm always eager to learn more, though.
There's a lot of CGs in this demo. A lot! I really wasn't expecting so many. If I'm not mistaken, every character has at least one CG, and I believe most of them have more than one. This game is chock full of art, and I know that must have taken a lot of work, not to mention all the story writing and programming on the side. Even the side characters have sprites and interactions, that just screams high-effort to me.
The last thing I have to say is that the creator deserves a lot of appreciation for their time and hard work on this game! Thank you for the experience! I'm desperately looking forward to more and I really want to see more Pierrot but I will be super patient and wait as long as it takes. Take care of yourself first!

Will the full version be free?
Yeah! I plan on the full game to be completely free.
When I was young, a bunch of games I liked were free and in a way, that was sort of magical to me haha.
While the game is exclusive for adults, it feels right to do it free, unless something changes my mind.
However, The extra stories and such will not be free, but this won't be the case for the main game.

Well, to be fair, there are two categories for future games related to PS
Spin offs and Extra Content.
The spin offs will be free and will not be as complex as Predator's Syndrome and the Extra content, and will have stories about characters that don't appear or aren't a main focus in the game.
The Extra content, it's going to have stories related to the Love Interests. Such as how their lives are with the MC after the Good Ending and (Currently being developed) an NSFW Expansion that, like the name suggests, will have adult content of the main 5
Only the Extra Content won't be free. I don't know how much they will be, but, at least the NSFW Expansion will be above 10 USD because of how complex it is.

great game!! i love the name easter eggs where you can learn a bit about their past.. kinda funny(creepy) when the game kicked me out when i tipped "Scaramouche" or the smile from Dottore idk maybe it way a bit creepy because i play it at night :,)and i also love the story it's interesting,i actually like everyone so far but my favs. are Pierrot and Tartaglia (even when he betrayed me and left me in that one route that brat:c)

This a really great game, I can’t wait to see what the story will bring in the future. Through I can’t help but wonder, when Pierrot ask my name, I got the response as saying my name means the noble one, I also tried out several other names, but none of them get the special response, so I am really curious why?
Ahh! Yeah, haha, those are easter eggs, I put the name of some of my friend's OCs and made Pierrot say something different regarding that!
You and my friend's OCs share the same name and that's why it reacted like that.
I think eventually, I'll reveal those other easter eggs haha.

To get her second cg, after you have Sandrone's first event and after Pierrot says "I hope your day was enjoyable" You have to pick the option that talks about Rosaura.
Continue the game as normal until Pierrot asks you if you want to go back to the apartment with him, you have to say no and take a walk on your own.
There game should remember your answer and start a special event with Rosaura.

Well...it's more of a reference to la Commedia Dell'arte if you're talking about the names haha, since the fatui and these characters both share the same name as characters from that Italian Commedy!
But PS doesn't have such a complex and worked lore as Genshin has LOL.
Maybe I will make references to Genshin, maybe! We'll see~!

I feel a bit stupid but, can someone tell me how to get the Alternate Rute 1? I've been trying and I got every other picture, but I don't know what to do anymore...
Don't worry! It's not stupid at all!
To get Alternate Rute 1, When you have the chance to explore to your room, take it and check the kitchen very carefully, there's a hidden button
After you have done that, continue the game as normal until after the scene with Rosaura. There will be another option besides exploring the town.

Really liked the art and the characters, but I loved the take on what means to be a "yandere" here, I admit I played a lot of games with that kind of characters but you surprised me with the story and the documents that we can read to know more and all.
And yes, after playing the Alternate Routes 1 & 2 I still love him (honestly, he got me at breakfast, i'm pretty easy to please haha)
